As a journalist reporting on body modification and cutting-edge culture worldwide, Keroppy is known for introducing “bagel head” to Japan. His activities have also become a hot topic since being featured on the popular TBS TV program “Crazy Journey.”
From 2005, he began holding exhibitions as an artist and curator, and his major publications include “Crazy Culture Travelogue” (Kadokawa), “Reviving Japanese Ancient Tattooing Art Project, Jomon Tribe” (Kokushokankokai), “Modcon Complete Version,” “Modified Future, Bilingual Edition” and “Trepanation Sourcebook, Bilingual Edition” (all three published by Future Works).
Together with tattoo artist Taku Oshima, he promotes the art project “Jomon Tribe,” which aims to revive ancient Japanese tattooing.

As a long time member of ASTM International and the Association of Professional Piercers, he collaborates in the development, interpretation and publication of evidence based standards for continual improvement in the field.

Becky Dill has been a professional body piercer since 2003 and co-owns Lemonade Piercing in California’s San Francisco Bay Area.
Becky is a member and long-time volunteer of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). She has previously served on the Board of Directors as President, Vice President, and Secretary.
For ten years Becky has been an instructor for the Fakir Intensives School of Body Piercing, now called the Fakir Musafar Foundation. This school is the legacy of piercing pioneer Fakir Musafar and teaches skilled, safe, aesthetically pleasing, and sophisticated body piercing.
Becky loves to share information and values knowledge exchange. In 2009, she founded the Bay Area Piercer’s Group where neighboring professionals in the piercing industry can get together, keep positive communication, and offer continuing education opportunities. This effort to push community over competition has made a positive impact on a local level, and has inspired similar piercing groups to form across the world.

Jesús Cabanas, commonly known as “Sala” started his career as a full-time professional piercer in the early 2000s in the Canary Islands, Sala's quest for improvement led him to travel globally to learn from industry pioneers.
After his inaugural trip to the United States in 2007, he delved into nursing studies, specializing in sanitary techniques, pain therapy, and anesthesia. Simultaneously, he expanded his horizons by teaching in various countries.
Relocating to Oslo, Norway, in 2012, Sala teamed up with Christiane Løblaft, owner of Pinpoint Piercing, established in 1998 as a pioneering piercing studio and one of the earliest APP member stores in Europe.
Sala, a proud APP member and senior speaker, now extensively attends and speaks at conferences worldwide in countries like the USA, Spain, Germany, Poland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, and India.
He participates in conferences such as APP, LBP, APPE, GeP, UKAPP, Bmxnet, YOUMODIFYand APA Ritorno alle origini.
In 2015, he embarked on a new journey as the co-founder of APPE (Association of Spanish Professional Perforators), where he serves as the active vice president, international liaison, and organizer of the annual conference in Spain.

ZILCH began her career in Osaka in the 2000s, honing her skills at BABYLON Body Art Osaka before starting her professional career.
In 2024, she opened "XTAL BODY JEWELRY" in Nara, and has been a full member of JPPA since the same year.

Michele began his career as a body piercer in 1997 in Italy, through an apprenticeship which was based on Gauntlet principles.
He worked in piercing shops across Europe, including Italy, France, the Netherlands, and the UK—before relocating to Japan in 2002. In 2008, he founded MAY Inc., a company that imports and distributes body piercing jewelry throughout Japan and Asia while exporting specialized piercing needles globally.
From 2009 to 2012, he traveled between Japan and Norway to work at Pinpoint Piercing.
Since then, he has limited his piercing work to facilitating body suspensions.
He has been an active member of the Japan Professional Piercers Association (JPPA) since its inception in 2006
